Brian Schorr is TTC's Corporate Secretary and Director of Operations.  As such, he is in charge of TTC's human resources department, manages the corporate budget, oversees the company's employee benefit plans, and serves as corporate contract administrator.

 

He also serves as Executive Administrator for two of TTC’s client professional associations and one Foundation in the areas of environmental engineering, science, and biochar.  In this capacity, Brian serves as the main point of contact for association members and the general public for information related to their programs and is the principal manager of communications and outreach for these organizations.  He also works closely with the Boards and Committee Chairs to ensure the programs are properly planned and executed on time and within budget.  Previously, Brian served as a Coordinator, then later Manager, of three of TTC’s industry-trade associations and one Foundation in the areas of hydrogen and advanced ceramics.

 

Prior to joining TTC in September 1999, Brian interned for the U.S. Forest Service and Pennsylvania State University's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, studying fire history in the Lake Tahoe Basin of California and Nevada and water usage in central Pennsylvania.  He has also worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Pretoria, South Africa.

Brian received a B.S. degree in Physical/Environmental Geography from Penn State in 1999.
