UK Hydrogen Association Helps Develop Hydrogen Roadmap
The UK Hydrogen Association is pleased to announce that the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in collaboration with the UK Hydrogen Association and Fuel Cell UK are working toward developing an industry driven UK Roadmap for Hydrogen.
Planned next steps include:
- develop a shared long term vision for green hydrogen as part of the future energy mix
- identify the challenges that will be encountered in achieving this vision (from a UK perspective)
- identify what needs to be done to overcome these challenges, taking into account the existing available roadmaps
- highlight the UK expertise to realise the roadmap
The roadmap will be based on the views of a range of experts from industry, with representatives from the public sector. The Roadmap is expected to directly influence the future direction of research and investment in the UK in this vital area. |
