Summer Interns Assist TTC, Clients

TTC is delighted to host three interns this summer. Between them, they offer a formidable support resource to TTC and its clients.

Junaid FaruqJunaid Faruq is currently working on promotion of anaerobic digestion technologies by developing marketing strategies, election strategies and membership development programs for the American Biogas Council. Junaid held a marketing executive position at Eastern Biotech and Life Sciences FZ-LLC in Dubai, UAE prior to working in TTC. He holds a BS in Biotechnology from Dublin City University, Ireland and is currently completing his Masters in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University focusing on Algal Biofuels.

Monica NierodaMonica Nieroda interns for Technology Transition Corporation and holds many responsiblities with the Partnership for Advancing the Transition to Hydrogen (PATH). Monica is developing a comprehensive global report on the state of the hydrogen economy, titled "PATHways: Assessing Progress in the Global Hydrogen Industry." She is also writing and distributing PATH position statements on hydrogen and fuel cell topics, updating PATH's 17 international associations on important events, and collaborating with staff in promoting and organizing international meetings/workshops. Monica will graduate from Penn State University in December 2010 with a Bachlor of Science in Energy, Business and Finance and is looking to enter the Renewable Energy and/or Hydrogen sector.

Joe SeymourJoe Seymour assists with BTEC's governmental affairs, membership development, and industry research.  Joe's interest in energy policy draws from his work in both the private and public sectors, as an intern for Congressman Pete Hoekstra and Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Viability, LLC.  He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Hope College with a BA in political science.
