Jerome Hinkle, New Vice President of Technology Transition Corporation

Technology Transition Corporation (TTC) is proud to announce that Jerome Hinkle has joined the TTC team as Vice President of Technology. Mr. Hinkle's expertise significantly strengthens TTC's capabilities in policy and government affairs. Most recently, Mr. Hinkle worked in the U.S. Senate, where he was a Brookings Fellow for the U.S. Department of Energy with Senator Byron Dorgan. In this capacity, Mr. Hinkle played an active role in the development of the recently passed Energy Policy Act of 2005 with a focus on: hydrogen vehicles and fuels, energy efficiency, R&D, Indian energy and renewables, and clean coal. For this work, he received the U.S. Fuel Cell Council's Pathfinder award. Mr. Hinkle will provide policy and legislative affairs support to TTC's clients including the National Hydrogen Association and the U.S. Advanced Ceramics Association.

As the new Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the National Hydrogen Association, Mr. Hinkle is now the senior staff person devoted to policy issues for the Association and its members. This includes NHA support of hydrogen-related legislation. Serving as Director of Policy and Government Affairs for the U.S. Advanced Ceramics Association (USACA), Mr. Hinkle is developing a new energy, military and aerospace advanced ceramics initiative for the USACA members that recognizes the critical role these strategic materials play in the missions of the related agencies.

Prior to joining TTC and three years working with Senator Dorgan, Mr. Hinkle worked for over 20 years at the Department of Energy in alternative fuels, environmental policy, international energy security. During that period, he was most recently the chief economist for the Naval Petroleum Reserves, a multi-billion dollar Federal oil and gas operation.
